CollisionMatrix was created by a team with 25+ combined years in collision repair, shop operations, and enterprise software — because we got tired of watching great shops run on disconnected tools.
For more than two decades, the people behind CollisionMatrix worked inside the collision repair industry — as estimators, shop managers, software consultants, and insurance liaisons. We saw the same story everywhere: exceptional technicians doing exceptional work, buried under paper estimates, unanswered phone calls, missing approvals, and spreadsheets that broke every quarter.
The tools that existed were built in the 1990s and patched forward. They were desktop-only, expensive to license, and treated every interaction as a data-entry task. Customers were an afterthought. Mobile access was a bolt-on.
So we built CollisionMatrix from scratch — cloud-native, mobile-first, Canadian by design. Every feature was pressure-tested against real shop workflows before a single line of code was written.
